FG and 3P

FG and 3P ratings are high, really high
I'm wondering how many missed shots do you have with these numbers
I mean, if you have 3P rating 87 and Fg 91, can you miss at all? ok, I'm exaggerating a little bit, but still just a little bit.
These numbers are killing online games, cause it's really hard to defend a good shooter - if someone like dirk has such numbers then he's virtually unstoppable. And this numbers just lead to to many 3p throws accross the hands of two defenders. Not much you can really do that.
Well, at least in 2005 it was like that
We had to adjust ratings for our league, with 3P lowered for almost 10 (Joe Johnson had the highest rating with 80 - maybe still a bit high, most good shooters were around 70-75) and the overall success of 3P shots didn 't fall that very much, but most players had to adjust actions so that they made open or wide open shots.

In my experience, it's not so bad but I think at an individual level there will be some players that need adjusting. I won't make any "tweaked" rosters ie. mass recalculations of all player's ratings these days because the sliders impact the game and changing ratings like that messes up Dynasty Mode far too much. But at the individual level, I'm sure there'll be some changes in order.

To be honest I'm not delving too far into the roster update for NBA Live 06 because I need to finish up with NBA Live 2005 first, there's still quite some time before the new season begins and I'm taking a bit of time to explore the game, get a feel for the gameplay and simply enjoy it first.
