Clutch and The X are right, you just need to lighten up and enjoy this, if you are frustrated about failing things, actually listen to our advices and you probably won't be.

Above all else i think you just need to take a little time off, enjoy life a bit before coming back (if that's what you want) when you are ready.

Thanks for the understanding guys... I already chose a team for my last attempt at 2k10 until 2k11... but I'm gonna wait a week and re-organize everything here in my house. (N)

Not Miami. :) And it's gonna be hard because I have a player with a career-ending injury, just to spice things up a little and make it more interesting.

Not the Bucks either. I thought of them but with Martti doing them too, didn't like my future. :P

That could very well be a possibility, especially since he just posted this in badreligionau's Nuggets dynasty:

Thierry. wrote:Yao would be a nice fit for you, thought I don't like him

Honestly, that was one of my first ideas, but after a while scratched it. I've played a couple of games with different teams and also scratched the team I chose before  and came down to this squads:

• Dallas, trying to get Dirk and Kidd a ring
• Detroit, looking to get them back to the top of the league
• Lakers, chance for a three-peat... not sure if you guys would like this one lol, but seems interesting
• Philadelphia with Turner and Dalembert... never liked the Sam trade
• Sacramento reboot
• San Antonio, last chances for TD & Co. to get rings before they retire

Suggestions?

Go with Detroit. Don't make all of your moves before the season starts though.

I'd be interested in seeing either Detroit, San Antonio, or Philadelphia. Dallas would be nice too.

Nah, not really sure what moves I'll make, in all of those options... I see no love for the Lakers, lol.

For all this incredible mess? Really it was just... bizarre as you said.

Take a break Thierry, you'll be facing stiff competition if you start now.
There's the mini-epic (for now) "Scal Says".
Jae is about to start his comic sans goodness of an association.
Lamrock is in the 'final' of his trilogy with the Craptors.
Sit may also be resuming his association again.
Take a break and enjoy life or playing 2K10.

OK, here's the thing: Stop it man, this is getting ridiculous.
I'm most definitely not the most persistant guy myself when it comes to Association stories, in fact most of my shit didn't even last a couple of weeks. But nobody cared because I didn't start a new one right after the other.

I already chose a team for my last attempt at 2k10 until 2k11

See, this is where you're losing credibility .. I just have to look at the very first post of this thread and I can see
Ok, so here is my last attempt at an association until 2k11 gets released.
and
THIS ONE REALLY WON'T STOP

Really dude, take a break for a while, we have enough decent stories going around right now, from poeple who actually have fun writing them and aren't just doing them for the sake of it.

Just for the heck of it I thought I'd browse through the pages and copy your threads. I actually didn't go past page two of this section because I already had enough:

Thierry.: I've said it once or maybe even twice. Stop making dynasties, get out and finally get a life. You've said that someone of your relatives has health issues? Well, my father died almost three weeks ago, and my way to get over this is to get out and hang around with my family, girlfriend and after some days of real, deep grief, with my friends.
Just try to let this whole shit in the NLSC behind you. I mean, what is it that motivates you to post dynasties in here? Do you need attention? Try to get attentions from people you really know. Not from stupid online posters, be it the german dumb, who has never finished a dynasty season with a record above 30%, the Seattle native who is still crying because the Sonics left and now roots for the Blazers or the Australian high tower, whose thread have almost as much pages as he is high in cm.

Just stop this shit. Wait for 2k11. Get out, use the summer (it must be hot in Argentina I guess) and try to stop spamming stories which drive us mad.

The whole Sneijder thing showed how much you are caught in the NLSC. ("Caught in the NLSC", that's definitely nothin too good  ) Get over it and let it be.

Greetz, hov.

As everyone has pretty much sort of conveyed is that you are taking this hobby beyond being a hobby/past time... I sometimes feel like you treat it as a sort of job? I'm sure that you would enjoy life a lot more by spending all the time you make dynasties with on a social life of some sort? Cause right now I feel like you make the dynasty and then go to work and then make the dynasty and sleep and the cycle continues...

This is officially a forum intervention.

I agree with those guys though. I have no idea what possible enjoyment you could be getting from doing these stories at this point. It's not like the next one is going to be the one that turns into a huge hit here either, because your stories are all identical they just use different teams and different layouts. If you need a creative outlet maybe try looking into graphic design schools or something. You're pretty good at that sort of thing and it'd let you stay home and work on the computer (which you seem to enjoy somewhat) while also giving you that outlet without needing 50 new association stories a month.

What Sit said was spot on. This has gone beyond a hobby/fun thing for you. The Sneijder mess proved that... it's almost like an addiction or something. Whatever you do is up to you and you've never taken any advice before so I'd be shocked if you started now  but I think the best thing you can do for yourself is to take a break (not from the NLSC in general but from making association stories). You always say this is the last one, I hope this lasts 2 seasons blah blah. The harsh reality is, this is the 50th association/dynasty/FIFA/Pro Evo story you have done. You have absolutely no staying power for whatever reason, and I suspect personally it's because you've got nothing else to do so you just do these stories to fill in time but you get bored with them because really you're just wasting time by wasting time in the end.

Anyway, if you come back and go "OMG YOU GUYS HATE ME IM LEAVING" I will kick your ass because that guarantees you didn't bother reading what we've had to say. Just relax, take some time to sort your shit out and come back at another point when you think you are ready.
