RZA is the east-coast Dre. Except I think RZA is a better producer and rapper than Dre. Kanye isn't from teh east coast anyways. He's the midwest Dre/RZA (Chicago).

Lmfao, one of the most hilarious songs ever.

Hey Colin/Matt/Dogg/GOAT can you please check out the Critical Breakdown (Review) section ? We hardly get any replies there, and some reviewers are thinking about leaving caus of lack of feedback.

Sun Apr 10, 2005 4:58 pm

yeah no probs, i forgot all about that...i always stick to Blueprint & War Report

Sun Apr 10, 2005 5:35 pm

Well I was talkin to a few Cartel members and no one really knew it was there, they all forgot about it :x

Matt, you interested in writing any reviews ?

Sun Apr 10, 2005 6:49 pm

Bizarre....fuck no....his whole album will prolly talk abt his love for granny sex.....he should be thrown into prison...stupid fat sick bastard (n)

Eminem's not that bad.....but I think hes too aggresive most of the time and that kinda screws his lyrics up....Encore is a horrible album...terrible beats and lyrics (n)

I like Stan and Remember Me(mostly cause of its beat) from Marshall Mathers LP.....Sing For The Moment from The Eminem Show aint that bad either.

Hey at least he isnt as bad as Vanilla Ice... :P

Mon Apr 11, 2005 4:36 am

You were obviously talking about a situation where someone can give you a link to where you can purchase the album, right Matt. ;)

I've listened to Be in it's entirety about 6 times already, I'm lovin' it.

Mon Apr 11, 2005 5:31 am

I see I've stumbled upon a forum full of rap elitists .

Mon Apr 11, 2005 5:44 am

Not liking Eminem isn't elitist. It is soooo common for people to not like Eminem (for good reasons). If we were yelling at you because you didn't listen to 'underground' music like Aesop Rock, Cunninlynguists, or MF Doom then we would be elititst.

Mon Apr 11, 2005 5:56 am

Hey, can someone of you help me? There is a song called "Still Here" by C-Town feat. Big L. Well, I just wanted to figure out which album it's on actually, but I can't find anything. When I search through eMule, it is listed as track 14 from "Lyricist Lounge Vol. 2", but when I search several sites, there is Dilated Peoples on 14th place. I searched in Amazon, All Music and Rhyme State, but they don't have this song inside. Please help me...

Mon Apr 11, 2005 6:04 am

Maybe you do have good reasons, but I have yet to hear those good reasons. And another reason for being labelled as elitists --> all of you feel above people (like me) who like Eminem. That's not being elitist? Come on...

Mon Apr 11, 2005 6:07 am

So can anybody help me with my question above?

Mon Apr 11, 2005 6:17 am

You want an in-depth explanation. OK.

Eminem used to be an alright MC. Slim Shady LP was a pretty average album, but then he stepped it up for his follow-up album. That album had some pretty good lyricism, only one song with Bizarre, and good production. Then he lost his integrity and started to do the things he used to do well much worse, and refusing to move forward as an artist. He still has limited subject material, but now it's more noticable sicne he's put out 4 albums (+2 D12 I guess, so 6). He is either trying to shock with things less shocking than previous efforts (he isn't making anymroe songs like Kim), trying to be funny with the same old jokes (Just Lose It, is just wrong in so many ways. Fart jokes?), or he's insulting some rapper who is even wacker than he is. Britney Spears could probably rip up Benzino.

Eminem is not a good artist. Artists move forward, Eminem has not only not moved forward. But he's doing his old style/material worse than ever.

Mon Apr 11, 2005 6:34 am

That's not true at all. He FOUNDED his whole career on songs like "Just Lose It". He made people laugh, he made fun of other people and talked about controversial things. Songs like Without Me, The Real Slim Shady, those were the songs that launched his career. Clever lyrics with humour inside, that was Eminem. Then, he matured as an artist and talked about more serious things. He released Stan, showing his awareness of the society. He talked more about his family. And then he talked more about his life, his personal problems like Cleaning Out My Closet and Soldier. Come on, what you just said was total BS.

Are you actually telling me that he did not evolve as an artist? When he first became popular, he was heralded as immature. And now, he's way more deep as an individual and is not "sticking" to his old stuff.

Mon Apr 11, 2005 11:10 am

Are you saying Just Lose It is clever ?

I'm not saying that I'm better then you just because you like Eminem, each to his own. I love the Outlawz (No homo) and will buy anything they put out no matter how shit it is, people give me hate for that but I don't care I grew up listening to them and always will.

Mon Apr 11, 2005 11:13 am

Who is yoiu're favorite of the living Outlawz Skip? Kastro? Mine is actually Kadafi, R.I.P., second being Kastro.

Mon Apr 11, 2005 11:18 am

No, but once again, everytime you guys rip on Eminem, all you guys talk about is "Just Lose It"... and my response to that, don't judge Eminem based on that one song.

Anyways, I find it such a big joke that everyone here spits on Eminem. They use Eminem as part of a joke, "OMG RAP NOOB, GO LISTEN TO YOUR EMINEM!" And then when someone actually confronts them about it, all the supposed rap experts have nothing to say.

Keep in mind, I'm not trying to convert people into liking Eminem fans. I understand differences in taste and you may not like his style or voice, but I will always rank him as one of the most talented rap artists in the industry.
