STONED!

Postby shadowgrin on Sun Apr 03, 2005 12:54 am

My favorites are the Beatles, Rage Against the Machine, Queen, U2, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, and I'm starting to like the White Stripes.

I can't still get enough of Rage Against the Machine!
Audioslave sucks ass. Screw Chris Cornell. :furious:
I also discovered something, if you eliminate the vocals of Chris Cornell and just listen to the instrumentals of Audioslave, it's the same as listening to an instrumental of Rage.

Pantera never did it for me, don't know why. But then I never got into GnR either.

:?

Do you like heavy rock?

Its unfortunete you never got into Guns n roses....they were a great rock band...

Yeah, very much into heavy rock. But not an avid fan of any genre or group exept Mars Volta. I listen to a lot of diffrent kinds, but most of them fall under a heavy-titling or a really wierd-titling.

GnR just feels to ...ordinary (?) for me. Nothing exept a few songs and Illusions to get exited about.

hey do u guys know any other tracks of Quan?....I wanna listen to more of his joints...he looks likes he a really talented Emcee.

Warren G is very smooth....I prefer him over Snoop...what r his best tracks?...I saw the video to one of his older songs...it was pretty good (y)...

oh yeah and what the hecks happend to Busta Rhymes?...hes totally disappeared...the last two tracks I heard of him was that crappy track with Mariah Carey(gezuz, shes scorching(at least with makeup)) and the other track...Im not sure abt the name all I know is that it had a creepy beat and a creepy video.

Plus it was only abt a few weeks back that I learnt Kanye West sang Through The Wire while practically have his mouth shut with wires....tremendous respect to the man (y)

That new track from Fabolous sucks nuts...."U can be my B-A-B-Y"....thats straight up stolen from a boy/girl band track. :x ....and now hes comin on J-Lo's song....what a fuckin idiot....its MC's like him that screw up the rap/hip-hop industry.

Oh yeah recently one of my friends(a hometown MC) told me that theirs like 21 different styles of rap while we were backstage at a gig.....anyone hear that can name all of em(without searching the net)?

yeah Regulators is mint. Take a Look Over Your Shoulder isn't that popular with most people but I like it, I love G's production...I Want It All is pretty good to IMO

Warren G + Nate Dogg have great chemistry, like MJ + Pip or Stockton & Malone.

I've been really tempted to play "Take the Power Back" in my university's loudpseakers so every faculty, student, administrator will hear it. Also "Guerilla Radio" during protests. It will happen soon..

I just heard Quan - All For War, prod. by L.E.S.

He comes with that gangsta shit. Lyrics are not bad, I think it's designed to get the whole Jadakiss-style crowd hyped on him. The new Jada, not from The Lox. I think the beat is alright, got the gunshots, the violin, the bass line.

aren't all of the RATM members except Zach dela Rocha on Audioslave, which basically is RATM with a different vocalist...

Yup, my point exactly... It's just Soundgarden's singer that makes them a little bit different...

Yup, Audioslave is Rage minus Zach plus Chris Cornell minus the political lyrics.
