Mine is Rush's Neil Peart. The things he does are just SICK, I have heard a LOT of guys but he is the MAN.
You feel impressed after hearing Mike Portnoy but listen to "The Rhythm Method" by Peart.

Lars Ulrich is overrated imo.

Dave Grohl would be up there with the modern day drummers, maybe its because I'm a Nirvana fan.

Dave Grohl....The Green Day dude not sure what his name is.......Lars Ulrich.........theirs a 13 year old african-american kid....not sure abt his name but hes the best drummer out there....he does the most unbelieveable shit out there......saw a video where they got all the best drummers on one stage and got them to perform.....that dude kicked the shit outta all the drummers.....

Slipknot's Joey too is a very good drummer.......then the dude from Anthrax......and also the sepultura drummer....again dunno his name...
