I'm going to the Rock the Bells festival in New York. Should be fun to see Rage, Wu Tang, Nas, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Public Enemy, Immortal Technique, Rahzel, Rakim, The Roots and Cypress Hill all on the same day.

they usually have a Rock the Bells out here in the California desert around august or september. i should've went to the last one. sounds like you're gonna get an all-star show

A new Rage Against The Machine page sporting two countdown timers, one to Monday June 11th, 2007 and another to August 24th, 2007 has been posted online over at www.ratm82407.com. Dissection of the source code of the site (or even setting ones computer clock to the date in question) has revealed that the June 11th timer counts down the official announcement of the bands long-rumored gig at the Alpine Valley in East Troy, WI on August 24th; for which tickets will go on sale on June 16th. The August 24th timer appears to merely countdown to the show itself. The site is registered to "Live Nation" - a company primarily, though not exclusively, known for live events. At present, the only officially scheduled Rage Against The Machine dates are as follows:
July 28th New York City, NY - Randalls Island ("Rock The Bells Tour")
July 29th New York City, NY - Randalls Island ("Rock The Bells Tour")

1. he looks like some sort of cockroach, though this has nothing to do with his music.
2. his beats are nice. that has nothing to do with him as a rapper. that's his producers.
3. he raps about the same bullshit everyone else does money, bling, beats, etc.
4. he does absoluetly nothing at all do distinguish himselft from all the other mindless drawl that gets put on the radio day after day, and therefore does not deserve much recognition at all.

But it seems like everybody rags on Cornell just because Audioslave made different music with Rage's band members. Or is there some other reason I'm missing?
