anyone heard of Team Sleep.....its Chino Moreno's side project....its gotten alot of hype and their supposed to be on the Matrix Revolutions soundtrack but havent heard any of their material.

Also the American Idiot album is seriously overrated...Boulevard of Broken Dreams sounds like something outta an Good Charlotte album....

n Unwritten Law r back....not sure if any fans exist in here but I liked their stuff....only heard 2 songs of theirs but they had catchy beats and lyrics.

plus going a bit towards history......what the heck do Pennywise sing....are they hardcore or like Cypress Hill meets Metallica or smth?

lol k .....I dunno I just heard 2 songs of theirs n they both seemed good to me....but what abt the Fugees, dont tell me their crap too :o

The Fugees wrote:"Ready or Not"

[CHORUS:]
Ready Or Not, Here I Come, You Can't Hide
Gonna Find You and Take it Slowly
Ready Or Not, Here I Come, You Can't Hide
Gonna Find You and Make you want me.

[CLEF:]
Now that I escape, sleepwalker awake
Those who could relate know the world ain't cake
Jail bars ain't golden gates
Those who fake, they break,
When they meet their 400 pound mate
If I could rule the world
Everyone would have a gun in the ghetto of course
When giddyupin' on their horse
I Kick a rhyme drinkin' moonshine
I pour a sip on the concrete, for the deceased
But no don't weep, Wyclef's in a state of sleep
Thinkin' 'bout the robbery that I did last week.
Money in the bag, banker looked like a drag
I want to play with pelicans from here to Baghdad
Gun blast, think fast, I think I'm hit
My girl pinched my hips to see if I still exist.
I think not, I'll send a letter to my friends,
A born again hooligan only to be king again.

[LAURYN:]
I play my enemies like a game of chess, where I rest,
No stress
If you don't smoke sess, lest.
I must confess, my destiny's manifest
In some Goretex and sweats I make treks like I'm homeless
Rap orgies with Porgy and Bess,
Capture your bounty like Elliot Ness, YES
Bless you if you represent the Fu
But I'll hex you with some witch's brew if you're Doo Doo
Voo Doo,
I can do what you do, easy, BELIEVE ME
Frontin' niggas give me hee-bee-gee-bees
So while you're imitating Al Capone
I'll be Nina Simone
And defacating on your microphone.

[Chorus:]
Ready Or Not, Here I Come, You Can't Hide
Gonna Find You and Take it Slowly

[LAURYN'S INTERLUDE]

You can't run away
From these styles I got, oh baby, hey baby
Cause I got a lot, oh yeah
And anywhere you go
My whole crew's gonna know
You can't hide from the block, oh no.

[PRAZ:]
Ready or not, refugees takin' over
The Buffalo soldier, dread-lock rhasta
On the twelfth hour, fly by in my bomber
Crews run for cover, now they're under pushin' up flowers
Superfly true lies, do or die,
Toss me high - only puff la,
With my crew from lock high
I refugee from Guantanamo Bay
Dance around the border like I'm Cassius Clay

[Chorus (Lauryn) REPEAT 3X:]

Ready Or Not, Here I Come, You Can't Hide
Gonna Find You and Take it Slowly
Ready Or Not, Here I Come, You Can't Hide
Gonna Find You and Make You Want Me

Wow Najira! That was actually the best song in the Late 90's, I think it was 1996.

The Beat in that song is also in Mario Winans "I Don't Wanna Know"

People dig the Fugees because they were so original. Wyclef was awesome, and Lauryn Hill was DOPENESS ON A STICK.

Green Day to me is decent stuff, not total rock.

I heard "Warning" It sounded like a decent POP Joint. I like Green Day, They stick out as Rock Music. I like their sound.

You Know? Green Day is your average Garbage Metal/Thrash N' Bash Motherfuckers, they are good dudes, "Warning" sounds like a country/pop song.

And yes, I'm stuck on "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" It's so damn intresting, PROPS to Green Day.

I was watching Headbangers Ball on MTV2 once...and I saw/heard this song by Exodus called "Throwing Down", I was actualy almost headbanging. Fucking sweet.

Fugees are hot shit. Lauryn is the best female MC ever. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was awesome. I love Doo Wop (That Thing)

That is a great song one of my favourites on that album (The Score), they did reunit for a brief performance I think but haven't heard anything about producing any more songs.

Their old albums rocked (Y).

Green day is an average garbage metal/thrash n bash band?

Thats like saying 2pac was pop singer... although.

You obviously have never heard of real metal and more hardcore bands, but thats fine. You're probably into rap.

Hey! :x

I don't see everyone's obsession with Green Day all of the sudden. American Idiot is their only good song IMO, that whole album sucked other than that. I really can't say anything about them except for that album because it was the only one I listened to. Besides, half of their fans don't even know anything about them (*coughsneezecoughOSFeventhoughhesnotafancoughsneezecough*). there is a kid in my school who consideres himself "one of the biggest Green Day fans in New York" and wears an American Idiot shirt at least twice a week (I don't even think he washes it). Then today I asked him the name of one of the members and he couldn't give me an answer.

 Poser Poser Poser.

American Idiot isn't their best album. But its their 1st album in a couple of years, their old albums rocked though.

Dookie and Nimrod were great albums (Y)

I can understand that, the people who have liked Green Day from before American Idiot, but it seems that all of the sudden American Idiots are popping up everywhere.
