The Gay thread

i guess this isnt a matter of ethics anymore. rather, it's more of a matter of beliefs. if some people believe that gay is not morally wrong, then there isnt much to change their belief. im pretty sure in the future (decades, centuries maybe) others will come to believe that incest or even intercourse with animals is not morally wrong. it's true that history repeats itself. it was unthinkable to accept gay marriage couple of centuries ago and now look what has come to. while it's an abomination to say "sex with animals is morally ok" currently, it wouldnt be surprising if it became acceptable later in the future.

Today, this morning, I went to the gym to pump some iron... Up came a middle-aged (around 30-35 years old) bald white guy who had a really funny mustache... He came all full of himself, and gave the teacher some cd and said, "I like to practice listening to this"...

I thought, "wow, this guy will put fire on the gym, he will pump tons of iron, I should move out!"

And then!!!

There comes a slow piano... and... ELTON JOHN!

i come from a culture that is very religious and condems this type of activity, but i have no problems with homosexuals adopting or getting married.

i have cousins on both sides of the family that are gay. they've both told me that this wasn't something they chose, it was something they came to realize as they got older. they're good people. they just happen to be gay.

there is a big gay district in chicago and i've been to a few gay bars there with my cousins. i'd have to say, these places are going on, even on monday nite's! (which leads to sometimes myself and my straight friends heading out there on mondays). also i'd like to add, it's a lot easier getting hooked up with a stronger drink or a free beer from a gay bartender.

anyway, i piss on this idea of metrosexuality. it's not about sex, it's about status. all it is to me is a bunch of rich people, mostly actors/singers, wearing expensive designer clothing... another scam to get the middle class person to spend more money on something they don't really need

these stupid celebs with deep pockets would probably wear hypercolor sweaters if tommy hilfiger or whoever brought that line of clothing back.

when i was in high school, we would call these people pretty boys.

back to this gay thing... they know all the hot girls, so it's to your benefit to be friends with one. as shitty as your intentions are, you'll still learn along the way a lot about homosexuals and homosexuality

i think gays can be together, but shouldnt be allowed to 'marry' in the traditional sense because isnt marriage a religous term? if a religion doesnt believe in that sort of thing fine, who cares, you dont have to be married to be 'married' in essence.

on a sidenote, its very funny the way american culture is heading............. wherein it is popular for men to be more womanly and women to be more manly. soon everyone'll be gay and being gay'll be like being straight :twisted:

heck i bet 100 years ago it was considered girly to use soap -- not mention shaving cream. in essence men today may be more 'womanly' then their great grandmothers
