I see it like this....
West coast is irrelevant, East has Dipset and 50, so therefore by default South wins

Isn't Scarface from the South? If so, they win. Whatever it is they are winning.

Scarface is from the south....and everyone wins Ice-cream! yay

Seeing that Mike Jones, Lil' Jon, Lil' Scrappy, and all of No Limit are form the South your argument holds no weight.
Nas is back in the studio with DJ Premier!
Thu Oct 20, 2005 6:23 pm
but they suck less balls than Dipset
Thu Oct 20, 2005 7:24 pm
at least Lil John gave Chappelle inspiration for hilarious sketches so hes not useless.
seriously though, the best rappers are from New York, the east is holding it down.

The South has some real dope artists, most people just don't look hard enough...
Lil Keke, Trae, Hawk, Z-Ro, K-Rino are just a few artists that are heavily slept on.
Thu Oct 20, 2005 8:18 pm
I aint heard of 1 of those guys.....well, I think I heard of Keke.
Thu Oct 20, 2005 8:24 pm
Then you aint a true rap fan
Me neither
Thu Oct 20, 2005 9:44 pm

It's at least top 3 with Buddens - I'm Back and the Nas and Dirty Harry one.
[Clue/Kay Slay/random NY DJ]'s mixtapes of multiple artists are getting crappier and crappier. All the best mixtapes come from the artists themselves now.

J-Hood's Hood Stripes mixtape was pretty hot and we dont need to talk about Saigons mixtapes, this kid is the future. cant stand Papoose though, hes just wack in my eyes.
