So many people like him but you don't, so all the other people are just overrating him because you're right? I have to admit people are overrating him sometimes but what you're saying just makes no sense.

Actually, i never said or implied that I don't like Kanye. I just said he's overrated, anyone who actually listens to Rap a a lot will know that what Kanye is doing has been done before by others except they didn't seek/didn't get the MASS attention that Kanye is getting. It was done before and done better.

I can't tell if there that good or not judging by all the hype it got Maybe I'll download it because I don't know if its worth buying yet. What type of songs should I listen for though from any of those albums?

Well I'm definetely buying the Murs and Slug album and also the Buckshot album, both are great from a few listens this morning so I'll definetely pick them up if there at JB Hi Fi...

The Canibus album is aight, but it's a collection of old songs and 3 new songs (you probly won't have heard the old songs anyway, there from mixtapes). He is releasing an all new album later this year tho, which should be better.

Meh most of them are wiggers who need to wake up and smell the whiteness...the ones who aren't are my friends who mostly listen to 2pac now, just because of me...the rest are Rock fans. Besides the fact that I only discovered Run-DMC a few weeks ago. Remember, I have to find this shit on my own.

Just make sure you ease all of them into hip-hop if you're trying to switch up their music. Don't start off with the Public Enemies and KRS's because they won't get it. Someone I know listened to Kanye, so I showed them Common, then some of the Native Tongues, then some of the Premo/RZA style stuff from the era and BOOM! They listen to music that's wicked awesome now.

I discovered Run DMC in like...1998 or something.

I learned about them, I got more into it after I heard "Rock Box" on Vice City.

I know about Public Enemy because of Anthrax (rock group) who did the theme for WWE Raw in the late 90's, and the fact that they collaborated with Public Enemy.
