The more I see commercials and previews for Date Movie , the stronger the urge to watch my first movie in theaters since "Lord of the Rings : Return of the King". The commercials have made me laugh every time I see them , especially the black midget who makes a reference to Hitch. Plus I noticed a Napoleon Dynamite character and an Owen Wilson "Wedding Crashers" imposter. I can't wait until Februrary 17th.

Jackal , did you see radio hosts Jim Rome or Dan Patrick in "The Longest Yard"?

Yeah, he's that guy, and he's also from Old School, which I thought he was great in. He did have terrible roles in a few movies, so he's a 50/50 kind of funny guy, but he ruled during his days at SNL.

Old School to me is the best "guy" movie in the past few years. I also think Will Ferrel's performance as Hank the Tank was classic

Vince Vaugh made Wedding Crashers go. He was involved in most of the funny scenes. Will Farrell was ok only in the scenes at "his" house but when they were outside the house... now those were disturbing

Machinist- excellent film. So many ways to interpret the movie. What's yours, Cyandie??

Anyone seen King of New York? Christopher Walken, David Caruso, Wesley Snipes & Lawrence Fishburne? Pretty decent movie too, Walken is the shizzle & Fishburne's swagger in the movie made me laugh/chuckle quite a few times.

No, but I watched the matador awhile ago, it was pretty good, though sometimes its so obvious the director is a rookie. I'm gonna watch munich soon, when i have time, maybe next week. if my brain doesnt explode i'll kiss and tell.

I thought it was very straightforward actually. Spoiler ---> The guy repressed his past when he killed the girl and out of that repression, his identity along with his world was invented and his identity mirrored with that fat guy, kind of like in a schizo way till he finally came to terms with his past.

Donnie Darko was a little disturbing. Normally I'd enjoy that kind of movie, but the whole idea relating to time and science wasn't really something I was into.

It's midnight, saturday night, and I just finished watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It's really wow, Garden State type of wow, only on steroids.

actually He killed a boy. One could say that the whole movie he is inpurgatory... that's if you look deeper into the movie. the amusement park ride has a lot of scenes there that could lead to that conclusion.. and not mention subtle showing of Dostoyevsky's novels and "conicidentally" the imagined characters have Russian names
i didn't see anything disturbing or depressing about Darko, well except Patrick Swayze's character and his actions. There is some reference about religion too

I really enjoyed the Butterfly Effect. It is a pretty clever movie although it's not one you would watch more than once.

Oh man, when I bought that movie I did not have any idea what was it about. A close friend told me to get it and I said "what the heck". In the end I had so many mixed feelings, it's pretty strange.

But anyways. I just got American History X, after months of searching for it, it finally arrived.
