hello NLSC friends!


Great to be alive today to see and play the new Electronic Arts NBA Live 2003! it is a great and fun game! Very much to learn about it, but EA looks to have done a great job for this release!


i am slowly regearing the nba2kstuff stuff ,along with others, to migrate the vintage and hitoric stuff and other utilities to the new 2003. it is time consuming and much work, and i am also very busy with these real life issues. but i will try to make some utilities and patches available to the community of enthusiasts, as possible and when time permits.


here are the initial contibutions:

1) for roster tweakers (and myself lol) - here is the 2003 Mega Ratings Adjuster program. this is a simple application that allows you to make some quick global roster modifications to your players database(s). yes the game seems very fast and run and gun. lol! hopefully the roster experts and other users can use it to experiment with a roster to see what ratings may affect the game play to make it a little better.
It doesn't need any external software to run like Access, so that will help some users.
Please be very careful with it. it is alpha software and sure to be bugs. make sure to make a backup of your saves folder and any roster you modify in case it gets messed up.

2) for patch makers - here is GETNBA2k3.EXE. this utility makes your BATCH files for making patches easier and more professional to distribute. this utility can be run in your BATCH installtion program for your patch and will automatically deterimne the correct directory where the NBA game is installed, and also the correct places to copy your rosters.

I hope we can do some more work together on 2003, this version looks really great for customizing.

I was just hoping that we'd be able to convert the legends faces for 2003!

I don't think it should be hard to convert the jerseys. The best thing is, the pain of dealing with jersey numbers was what limited me for 2000, but now since it's a separate file it should be easy to copy things around. I kind of have the goal to make basically every uniform ever worn in the nba for 2003...

I don't know exactly how the courts work this year though, hopefully someone will figure it out.
