Lots of scoring is good....

This is not that bad because some people like me don't have the time to player 12 minute quarters!!!. So even if i play like 7-8 min quarters i still get scores around 70-80-90.

I don't understand how a person can play 12 min quarters. Thats an automatic 60 minutes plus all the play stoppages...my goodness...

yes but then u don't have accurate stasts with rebounding... since the FG % are so high, it's impossible in a 7 quarter game to get 40-50 boards

As i see it EA Sports should, at least in simulation mode, try to reflect reasonable stats for 12 minute quarters. Not the guys who want to play 12 minutes should be forced to tweak the rosters.I mean without tweaking the results are: 150-145, 25 blocks and steals for each team and shooting percentage high in the sixties. If EA wants it that way, they shouldn't speak of an simulation but of a run and gun-hit all shots exept of being blocked by a litlle point guard-game.As i see it NBA 2003 is a big step forward controlwise. Everything is fluid, the animations look great and sometimes you get the feeling of beeing right in a NBA game. But most of the time the CPU is just pushing the ball upcourt, one pass and shot. No executed plays, no working the shot clock to get a good shot, just run and gun. It's an arcade game-not an simulation. But it is still fun to play.
