The score is still too high..

Postby ningtong88 on Sun Nov 17, 2002 5:05 am

I just played a game as Magic againist 76ers, the final score was 167-168 at 12min length quarter, and starter level. I downloaded the patch from NLSC, but CPU is still just keep scoring and scoring.
How to fix it???

Youre right with playing better defense, but youre wrong too. The CPU shoots too fast. I mean they normally use ten seconds of the shot clock to take a shot. So you can challenge their shots and bring down the FG%. But in my 10 minute quarters in starter level they fire up to 100 shots. They should execute more set plays. Would be more realistic.

with the updated roster tweeks, check the other post in here.

put both teams every player at high pressure, no dbl. team
both teams no box out and no crash boards.
press the L2 button on gravis on cpu fast breaks(last person back)

this should help, helped me a helluva lot.
I just played a quater game, Bucks vs. Spurs, I was losing 28 to 26.

set up your shots on Off

don't run a gun all the time.

with the high pressure D, and the tweaked rosters, I didn't see many fast breaks from CPU.
