Really, how do we get updated rosters to work?

People say that we need to replace just the MyDocuments/Nba Live 2003/ folders, others say jus tone, others say all 4, how do we do it because i have tried every way, but nothing loads the updated rosters in the game...

Unzip the roster file into C:\My Documents\NBA Live 2003\database\currentdb, I think. Then get into the game, and go the Load/Save mode, there should be a roster file.
