my computer is a HP/windows xp .. logically i wouldnt think xp and all easports 2002 games could work with 8mb video card ....
Dude, your graphic controller gotta be integrated with the chipset or an on-board video controller. That explain why you got 248MB of system memory coz the 8MB of video memory is taken from the system memory out of 256MB.
You should be able to change the video memory size to as much as 32MB through system bios, but that reduces your system memory to 224MB.
For the NHL2k2 and other games you were able to run on your system, I guess you were running the games in 640*480 16 bit? If the games are not using too many textures (size wise), it maybe able to fit in the memory frame buffer in low resolution modes.
Anyways, if you wanna play nba live 2k3 I think you should get a new video card since on board graphics are just not fast enough to play the lastest games. Except you can tolerate 15 fps in the game.
