Loading tweaked roster after startin a franchise

How do u do it...I must be retarded or something....cause I have a franchise i started with the stock ea roster...i wanna use a roster update, but i try to load it after my franchise, and it says u cant....and i loaded it before i loaded my franchise, but it dont look likes it works...

You can't use updated rosters in a Franchise/Season/Playoff that you have already started. This has been a problem ever since the days of patching NBA Live 95.

yea i know about it in the older games....i was hopein it'd be fixed 8 years later....

Fixed? Why? You start a season or a franchise with a roster and then you want to change it? That would create havoc! All the guys who were injured wouldn't suddenly be OK and vice-versa, guys would change teams, rankings... the stats would all go out the window....

Try to see it from the programmer's point of view... way too much hassle for something that you don't really need. You start a game with a roster... so you have to stick to it. No big deal. They have so many bigger "screw ups" to clean up.

Why? Because I wanan do a franchise, and i dont wanna have to start a new franchise everyitme a good roster update comes out....

Wha about when u draft rookies? You wanna new roster? What will happen to the rooks?
