Whats up everybody.
Well I have gotten NBA Live 2003 about a week ago and I was trying to make the game play go faster. Before having these stettings set, I had 25 frames per second and now I am getting 45-50 frames.
I have a
Intel Pentium 4 XP 1.6 GHz
512 MB PC2100 DDR
16x Max CD-ROM Drive
64 MB nVidia GeForce2 MX Graphic Card
Steps to making your game run faster
1. Put the player detail Medium, this option will not make your players look differnetly, it will only make the eyes of the players less detail but you will not be about to see this when you play.
2. Put your lighting to Low
3.Your bench player should be on Low or Medium, it does not matter
4. Put your reflections to low, I noticed that the reflections take up to 10 frames if you have them on medium.
5. Put you tripel buffer off
6.Play the game in the recolution that your original screen size is. This will make the game run fast with good image quality.
7.Make your Environment to Maximum
8.Put off the V-sync
9.Put the shadows to low because normally in NBA games on TV, the shadows are not high like in the game.
10. Put the texture Filter to Bilinear
11.Put the Texture detail to High
These are all the steps but if they don't work, you have to go to your graphic card option which is located in
Desktop,
Right Click,
Settings,
Advanced.
Go to the monitor tab option. Select the screen refresh rate to the hightest.
Go to the Troubleshoot tab. Pull the arrow to the right all the way, for Full hardware acceleration.
Go to the graphic card tab option.
Select 3D Anitalism OFF.
Go to the 3d Setting tab. Select the Mipmap detail level to best image quality.
Go to OpenGL Settings. Select Anisotropic Filter Disabled, V-sync Always OFF.
These settings should make your game run spooth and fast.
If you think that your game is good you can change some detail level options and make them better.
PLEASE POST HERE AND LET ME KNOW HOW IT WORKED!
