Discussion about NBA Live 2003.

While playing a lot of Franchise Mode and doing the fantasy draft, I noticed some players that just seem to kick ass in the game despite their ratings. Just for fun here are some of my favorites:
Brevin Knight- A solid PG that could start. He's superquick, and has sharp passing. His speed also allows the savvy player to kill on the rebounds as well (for a PG anyway)
Darvin Ham- Pure high-flying. He never botches a dunk, and really handles the boards well.
George McCloud- Curiously lacks the 3-pt icon, but apparently doesn't need it because he hits a high percentage of his shots. Has good size as well for being a sharpshooter.
Anyone have any favorites?

Glenn Rice is under rated, I think. Although he does play as much or as well as before, but if you look at his ratings, his 3-pt is around mid 80s...

in the game it's hard to say that a player is underrated looking at the SUPER high ratings

Malik Allen, Miami's starting power forward, is rated as a 67. In real life, he can hit jump shots from 20 feet and is averaging 12 points, 6 boards, and 1.4 blocks a game. He's one of the few Heat players underrated in this game...

well doug christie just like in real life has nothing but tight d ... but he hits a lot of 3 pointers in this game, doesn't miss a dunk and blocks a lot!

How about Tim Hardaway hitting 18 (!!) 3pointers against me and he only missed 4?

@dixing
everyone blocks two much, i played 3 - 7 minute games averagin 14 blocks per game with steve francis.
and doug christie is known to have three point range although he doesn't really drop 15 a night.
nobody in this game misses alot of dunks, unless you play with a tweaked player.dbf... its just the game engine that makes everyone do unstoppable double-pump, three sixty, windmill all the time

Doug Christie was in the 1996 slam dunk contest.

LoL thats a laugher, Doug in a dunk contest? How could they finish with him saluting his wife after every dunk?
Wed Nov 20, 2002 4:35 am
hehe lol I dont think he had a wife then
but now seriously I dont think I ever seen him do a layup in nba live 2003 although in nba live 2001 his much worse... seriously.
