Error while starting game, PLEASE HELP ME!

Hey, I just bought NBA Live 2003 yesterday, and installed it. My PC meets all minimum system requirements, and exceeds them by far. After the title screen, it goes back to the desktop, and then it starts to load the game. At the white screen, it says "NBA2003 has caused an error is NBA2003.exe. NBA2003 will now close." This is really frustrating me. I have DX 8.1, IE 6.0, and updated video card drivers. I took the CD back and got a new one, and again reinstalled/uninstalled/reinstalled/uninstalled ... etc. I have NO clue what to do, if you know, please tell me! EMAIL me at hardmuckbball@aol.com

what os u use i expirience that problem on winxp try win2k and download service pack 3 and the game is run sweet
