speed of game/ user vs. cpu

Is there anyway to slow down the pace/speed of the game. I like to set the game on CPU vs. CPU and the players fly. It is smooth but very hard to follow due to the speed

Secondly, what should i set the shot control to when playing
CPU vs. CPU. {user or CPU.}
