3 seconds bug in nba live 2003???

hey!

i just played nba live 2003 for the first time. but it happend in two games now that i had 3 second violation in my OWN!! zone. can anyone confirm this? or did i miss some new rules in the nba?? or is this becaus there is no illegal defense anymore ?? plz help!!!

That's true. As a defender you are not allowed to stay more than 3 secondes under your basket. But this can be changed in the rules menu. It is named defensive 3 seconds I think.
I had this violaton myself a few times

Your player can't be in the Key for more than 3 seconds on defense unless he is within a hand lengh from an offensive player, so if no offensive player is close to you and you stay in the key for 3 seconds, you will get called and the other team will get a free throw.

yes ur right... i wish it wasn't a rule lol... i like having jermain O in the middle swattin balls, but yes i know u can turn it off, but i prefer the most acurate games
