There was an error in NBA Live 2001! Which was that while simulating for the original players the computer checked the original file with all the original stats. Yes I've had Trajan Landdon or something like that (can't remember) developed into a FG 93 3FG 93 shooter and only make about 4 points per game! And Shaq ofcourse doing 28 points 15 rebounds at the age 38 or something. After realising this error, well let's just say that Live 2000 has been my game since, although I liked the actual playing in 2001 more especially the inside game compared to 2000.
I really hope the rookies will have speed averages of 80-85 in live 2003 rather then the usual 65 that it was before. Ever heard of a 5'5" guy which is slow like molasses??? Speed 60 point guards right! I wonder who has done this because there are no players with speed less then 65 in the original rosters (maybe one or two) but who made it the average? This has always been the problem with rookie draft in the past. Has it improved? I don't have the game yet. It was so ridicolous when 37 year old players rock cause their speeds are in the 80's range when most of the players have speeds in the low 70's. And the rookies were quite poor anyway and only the top 5 pics usually produced the best players and the rest were either pretty much useless or never advanced enough on their skills to become serious options. I think Tim said (in the interview) that the rookie ratings were tweaked, but could some one tell if it is so?
