Well, after scouring the entire city for an hour an a half, I finally found a copy of Live 2003. I just finished my first game, Bulls @ Bucks, and I must say I am digging this game.
The first thing I did was switch the game to arcade, and turned on all the options including fatigue. Fatigue is off in the demo. I played 5 minute quarters, Probably on the default difficulty. I was so excited to finally play, I forgot to change it.
The game looks great. There's a lot more cutscenes that aren't in the demo.
I won the game 78-73. JWill was player of the game with 18 points on 8-18 shooting, 10 assists, and 4 turnovers. Jalen Rose added 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Tyson Chandler had a nice game with 14 points, 6 boards, and 4 blocks. Ray Allen led the Bucks with 25 points. I shot 68% to Milwaukee's 57%, mostly because the lower difficulty allowed me to get inside easily.
My biggest beef so far is the inferface. It's rendered at a very low resolution, so you have to scroll all the time to look at anything. Also, you can no longer use the controller to go between menus. It was a big pain the in the ass just setting up the Bulls roster order and adjusting their primary and secondary positions.
I'm going to go play a few more games on Superstar, and then update the rosters. I'll probably make some tweaks to the ratings before releasing the first Hoopscity Live roster patch.
