Help!!! How to edit sock color for team gear

hello everybody! was just wondering how can i edit the sock color of every teams' away and home uniforms in such a way that a home team can wear white socks and away can wear black.

i choose white kicks for home and black for away and choose default each players' kicks and this seems to work. i just don't know how to edit or what number to put in the shoe field coz whenever i choose auto in a player's sock color, it always turns white. thanks in advance
