changed the Players.dbf

Postby Nbalive4ever on Tue Nov 12, 2002 8:02 am

This is what I did to the players.dbf default file

I lowerd FG - 5
I lowerd quick - 5
I lowerd speed - 10
I lowerd Block - 5

I forgot to raise OREB + 10 but I will

I got the players.dbf here make sure to put it in every location I think its in like 4 places

Your link does not work.

Can you get me the *.dbf file?

Please send to alanbernardo@attbi.com or contact via ICQ at 4046944.

I tried using DB Commander on the *.dbf but couldn't figure how to globally edit and I'm not about to edit each rating individually.

How did you do it?

Thanks,

Alanb

The link may have worked but it doesn't now.

Could you send the file to alanbernardo@attbi.com ?

As far as the *.dbf file goes, there's only one instance of it.

Thanks,

Alanb

lowering it fg by 5 doesn't do much... i lowered by 30 haha (in the 0-99 scale) but i think it was a bit too much so i'm gonna raise it by 10. oh yeah, you MUST lower 3pt!!! took me a while to figure out how to edit a whole column of data quickly, but it was worth it.

Are you using DB Commander to edit the *.dbf file? If so, could you enlighten us as to how one can globally edit ratings.

Thanks,

How do you alter an entire row with Microsoft Access? If anyone knows, post the commands to do this! Thanks.

Nbalive4ever, why don't you upload the newest Players.dbf file to NLSC? If that makes sense...
