NBA live 2003 - Classic Players

How do I put Classic Players into my season in NBA live 2003 for PC? You can play 50,60,70, 80 and 90's teams during exhibtion but you cant sign the players to your team during a season. Is there anyway to do this? Any info would be appreciated.
