Controller Configuration...

I have a PS2 Dual shock with a USB Adapter. Is there any way to map the controller so that it contralls like on the PS2? I can't seenm to get it ti recognize the freestyle right analog controls, like raising your arms up by pushing up on the right analog or facing up a player by pushing down.

Any one have similar problems or have any clue as to how to correct this?
