Defense help

hey i need some help on defense
jst basic tips to make me better at it allround.

press turbo while in the defensive stance, when the offense tries to dirve "bump" them, but if u are too far away, don't bump them with turbo, or u'll be called with a foul. what i usually do is not do that in the first quarter, and make sure my point guard has no fouls, then i turbo + defensive stance aggressively on them, some times i'll knock them down without a foul, so i get a steal
