Fantasy draft

Postby Levente on Thu Apr 11, 2013 12:07 am

Hi all,

I have been playing with PatTheHead's retro updates and I've downloaded Andrew's newest roster updates. I was wondering, whether if it's possible, to have a fantasy draft in season mode, where you're able to select players from each of these rosters. I'd find it super fun to have Hakeem team up with Bill Russell for example - some kind of greatest-of-all-time draft. Could you help me out?

Thanks in advance,

Levente

Only if those players are in one roster.

Is it possible to combine all these different rosters, to - say - combine them into one file or something like that?

And how would you do that? I'm really a newbie if it comes to using the editor.

wouldn't you just copy & paste from the database files into one big one?

It is more easier with the editor.

I really can't figure out how you'd do that, after scanning the readme file. Couldn't you give me a guide?

Open the roster you want to Export from. Left click on a player to highlight them, then right-click their name when it's highlighted to bring up a menu of additional options. What you'll want to do is Export the players you want to add to the other roster, which will dump a file with all their data to the folder of your choice.

After that, you'd open the roster you're importing to, highlight a player's name, right-click and select Import Player. You'll then be able to select the player data that you previously exported from the other roster.
