Can anyone recommend a good joypad for this game on PC?

Fixed it myself.

Well, I purchased the Logitech Rumblepad 2 so I could compare it to my XBox DUKE controller.

Verdict?

The XBox controller is the best PC controller ever.

I hooked up a MdCatz Dual Force 2 Pro and it hasn't worked that great therefore I would be giving the PS2 controller a try tonite.

Thank you.

I use the airflo controller, has a fan in it to keep your hands from sweating.
Works great usually....once in a great while the analog will get stuck(in the game, not the controller analog stick) and my player will walk on his own, but you can just pause the game, unplug the controller from the USB slot and plug it back in and its fine then. Otherwise other then that, its great.
