Will NBA Live 2K4 be great or will it be another Live flop?

I'm hoping this year will be great. They were on the right track with 2003 but the defense was attrocious and the overall control left alot to be desired. I have seen a few previews and watched a few clips and they say its nice and a step in the right direction. One guy stated that a problem in 2004 is that your post player, regardless how good he is, will always get double teamed. I sure hope that got fixed.

What do you guys think?

I think it will be great. For all our complaints, NBA Live 2003 was a great game for EA to build on. It's not a terrible game, just not the game we were hoping for. EA was looking to make a game that was fun to play - for those of us who are realism freaks, the fast paced game and high scores weren't desirable, but if you could put that aside, the game could be a lot of fun.

I agree I think 2003 was a great foundation. The introduction of Freestyle and now just building on it has the potential for a great game. If not 2004, than 2005 will be an earth shattering classic!
