just wanted to write something....
its getting close to the release date for live2004 and I just wanted to know what are you guys doing?

I've been currently playing my franchise in 2003, knowing that's it gonna be my last season, so I'm playing through it (not simming it, since I don't want to start a new season). In the real world, I'm in the same boat as Refuze, looking for a new video card.

now that live2004 is around the corner, has 2003 redundant?

For me, NBA Live 2003 has lost its appeal - all I do these days is update my roster patch. I just can't get interested in finishing my Timberwolves Franchise, nor am I motivated to play a quick 28 game Franchise with another team.

yeah i'm pretty bored with 2003...i'm now playing Madden 2004 or NHL 2004..i install the game for like a week just to play Tony's Streetball mod...got tired of it...unistalled...then i got both Madden and NHL recently...

NBA Live 2003 was retired early August, but I left the game on my hd in anticpation for the Street Mod. Then i took everything off like a week after the mod was released. After listening to all the previews and looking at the screenshots, it made me want 2004 more and I couldn't get into 2003 anymore. :wink:

I'm gonna be hatin it if that 11/4 release date is true for the PC version. But atleast I'll have the x box version and espn 2k4 to play with until then.

Same as cocobee, i'm still playing NBA Live 2003 street mod. It really give me some new challenges (yesterday I defeat the "World" team with my Jordan team with only ONE point, and Peja make 30+ for "World" team...what an unstoppable guy in 2003, I just couldn't stop him :evil:

)

In the realworld...finding new videocard(so glad that price of videocard is much lower in HK

) and viewing different video clip of 2004...also, considering whether I should buy a new gamepad for 2004.

I retired NBA Live 2003 a long time ago.

Been playing two PBEM games of Uncommon Valour, the Lock On: Modern Air Combat demo, Flight Simulator 2004, IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles lots of Madden 2004 and a little NHL 2004.

But I can't wait for Live.

I stopped playing 2003 a loooong time ago ...i didnt even try the street mod. I was just fed up with how the game played after a while. the bullet alley oops and the ridiculous steals took their toll. Ive been playin madden but not much else, been too busy. Ive been lookin forward to these titles though...live 04 ofcourse, nfs underground, pes3 for the pc. I hope this fall season is a good one for games.

I've been playing nba live 2000 lately(its still my Favorite!). I started a Raptors Franchise and traded away everybody cept Tmac and VC. I usually do this when i'm waiting for the new nba live or fifa. The day before Live 2000 came out i played '96 all night with a few friends. :lol:

EB usually gets the game when it's released. The console versions ae still slated at 10/14 though. Just the PC version was pushed back. I hope it's not true though. :cry:

Madden I created 32 new teams in obscure places like Alaska and Wyoming Fargo etc. and am playing a franchise... oh and SWG

OMG thats awesome! All along i was thinking the 2nd cumming of christ was pushed back to november and it's almost here! (PS2 user) :twisted:

madden sounds cool.

hopefully live will be as good.
I've also been playing AOM and creating my own scenarios for it.
Since the release dates live on pc are delayed, I guess 2003 will stay longer on my comp, I need my basketball fix ....even if it is flawed :roll:

I'm saving up money for Live 2004 now, as well as Madden 2004. I have no job so I just have to save up my lunch money or sell some games at shool

I'm playing my very last franchise season in Live 2003. I continue to update the game with patches though, as long as they keep coming out.

Until NBA LIVE 2004 comes out I'm playing NBA LIVE 2002 on PS2.

I'm playing as the Bulls with my favorite line-up of C:MOURNING PF:WALKER SF:PIPPEN SG:JORDAN(Legend) PG:BILLUPS 6:WALLACE(Ben) 7:HARDAWAY(Tim) 8:ARTEST (I only go with 8 players)

I put all the superstars (players with ratings of 82 or higher) of each team into 7 Eastern teams (Knicks, Nets, Sixers, Celtics, Magic, Pistons, Pacers) so the playoffs would be really hard to win (i hope). Except for the Lakers, I made their line-up C:SHAQ PF:MALONE SF:CARTER(Vince) SG:BRYANT PG:PAYTON 6:Stockton so they are guaranteed to come out of the West and challenge me should I survive the East. Each of the Eastern teams ended up having approximately the same talent level as the Lakers.

I simulated the regular season (finished 8th in the East as planned) and now I'm in the first round of the playoffs. I play 10 minute quarters, Superstar, Simulation etc.

First Round vs Sixers:

Game 1: Sixers 88 Bulls 68
Iverson 28, Robinson (David) 25, Stojakovic 17,
Jordan 33, Walker 19, Mourning 11

Game 2: Bulls 91 Sixers 87
Artest 30, Walker 22, Mourning 21, Jordan 10
Iverson 25, Stojakovic 18, Grant (Brian) 16

(series tied at 1-1)
