The game looks great the deflections and passing are sweet. Cassel even dives on the floor and passes while on his back

oh yea and the garnett fadeaway was perfection

thx for sharing this is a great video...i don't rili like the sliding part was not the well done but other then that the video look great......the block was awsome...the contact then the block by Lafrentz..perfect move..and Nash looks great this year...probably the most realistic hair made for him...the diving on the floor made the game look much more intense...and as Bredrin said the fadeaway this year looks perfect....

Man o man...now im excited for live 2004! I actually saw realistic dunks, a player diving for a ball, lay up alley oop and most of all the players didn't seem to slide across the floor.

The gameplay looked a little fast, but that's my only complaint. Since I don't know the slider settings that were used in that video, I remain optimistic.

I'm guessing everything was on default setting.

this vid disappointed me a little bit
the speed is still a little bit fast
some of the passings are still impossible (eg. pass through a man and no interception in one of the fast break)
the defender is still standing his position and ignoring a guy who is driving the lane...

i hope i can adjust them by using the slider.

I noticed that too.Oh well, if the gameplay is solid and we can import our own ditties--then it won't be that big of a deal.

hehe...well it appears to me from reading the ign article that they were looking for a fast pace game from the mavericks. I'm guessing/hoping it could either be that the mavericks cyber team were setting a pace for a fast pace game like they do in real life or ign put up the slider to fast.

I played nhl 2004 a couple days ago and it had a game speed slider in game options. I didn't diddle with it..but it was there...

I actually liked the rebounding clear the ball animations a LOT.

I do not hink I can take too much from the vid though simply because it is too short and that the user playing style would have a lot to do with how the game played. Eg. whoever played it tried and up pace -1pass sort of game

Would not mind some idle chatter during the 'actionless' parts like in real life commentary

However, player models look horrible in comparision to live 2003 and 2k4. The animations didn't seem to smooth either, ea needs to add a couple more frames for the animations next year. But these can be looked over as Live looks like a solid game this year.

yeah i thought the commentary didn't improve much...and i just gotta say there is sum rili easy basket that should have been made....Garnett wide open when Olowakandi alley-oop to him but he could make that...that makes it also rili unrealistic...not making a alley-oop by a superstar who is wide open...not likely...now they miss to much shots...a little revising here would be fine...

Just watched the vid again. 10 man freestyle is the s!@#t. im seeing help D, weak side cheating. U can also see dallas playin a 2-1-2 zone and everyone is rotating to lock down the open man.

how do you guys see all these little detail when the movie is very low quality...

click on DSL instead of Lan or dial up connection that way u'll see more clearly...

You boys that are complaining about the fast break pass from Nash to Jamison, well you ought to play a game of Live 2003 and see how the players have eyes on the back of their heads. Jamison was by no means all by him self out there, the defense actually was running back to defend. Which was certainly not the case in Live 2003.

Wouldn't been cool, if the pass from Nash to Jamison was intercepted by the guy that was in the way, while he couldn't even see the ball! I want that ability back! This game sucks, cause the players don't have eyes on the backs of their heads... (There might be some sarcasm in this paragraph...)

You can actually make a pass like Nash made to Jamison... When the defense is running back a little carelessly is the time to hit them with a pass like that. I've done it a million times and will do it a million times more.

I really liked the vid. Although it was of a very low quality... Not all the layups go in, and that's another positive sign.

Team like Dallas can push the ball up pretty fast, especially with Jamison added to the lineup. And we could see similar type of game from them this winter in real life.

marc, you can still see the streaming video, though you have to be an insider to download the movie.

or if you are a html master, you can download a streaming video... but i guess it's not as good a quality anyway

well, I saw the video...you can download a 7,x MB video file...that's in the free section.
BUT...the video file in the "insiders only" section is 14,8 MB big...so I asked myself whether this file has only a better resolution OR the insider get a longer video!
okay, but thanxs anyway. Can't wait for the demo release...video looks like the gameplay has really improved compared to NBA 2k3....
