Rebounding prob

Postby arthur2004 on Mon Nov 17, 2003 3:24 am

is it just me or does the rebounding in this game linda suck...........

i mean if i dont press jump my self my center just stands down there when a shot is shot...doesn't even try to jump...nba live 2003 was so good on rebounnding ..why did they have to mess it up...specially after freethrows...its like impossible to get a rebound there....and when u click jump and just goes up sometime...not even towards the ball.....anyone know how to fix this?

I always try to grab rebound myself, so I haven't noticed it.

the only problem with rebounding i have is that when i want to go for an offensive rebound, my player jumps off for a tip dunk all the time. of course he misses the ball 99% of the time even if there´s no other player anywhere near him. that is a little frustrating to say the least.

Your dunking gear is too high, I guess... I always made those dunk though.

Rebounding has always sucked in Live. They really need to look at the rebounding. Guys just stand around under the basket. If you're not controlling a rebounder, the computer should at least jump for the damn ball.

You have to turn your crash boards on. I always get about 14-17 a game. Anymore than that won't be that realistic. But I one down fall is that when you do that you player don't get back on the missed shot in time.
