Update 5/17/04...Accurate Player Shoe Patch (See last Post)

hey guys

ppl who want that patch don't care about who mad the shoes..

they JUST WANT THE PATCH

and you should just stop fighting about who made those shoes because basically it's done for fun nobody wins a $ doing this..

hey whatsup fellas (and girls, if there are any on these boards)...i just wanted to let you know that im done with the patch...now all i need to do is make a readme (which will be long because of the credits and instructions)...im real tired right now, so im gonna just take a nap and type up the readme tommorrow...

...just a caveat...i want to re-emphasize to u guys that i initially created this patch for personal use for my brother and i, but i decided to release it to u guys because of the great work you guys have put into the game, and i felt that it would only be fair that i give a little something back...

...additionally, as of right now, theres no batch installation process...this basically means that in order to use this patch, u'll need to prolly start a new season and DEFINITELY use andrew's most recent roster (because thats the players.dbf file that i edited in addition to the shoes.fsh file in the xplrcmn.viv file)...

...just one problem though...i dont have a website or anything so i'll have to email the file to u guys...that is, unless someone could hook me up with some webspace or something...

p.s. does anyone here no how to give a team 1 color sock for home and another color sock for away? i was trying to edit the nets' home socks to red but i didnt know how to do it...let me know if any of u know, and i'll make the changes before i release the patch...

glad to see you finished yours. mine's ready to go and i've just recieved dahl's approval

so now its just down to chett to get back to me on what shoes are his

. so, hopefully, we can both soon get our patches out there so ppl have a couple to choose from

depending on what they're planning to do with the patch once they have it.

mine patch might still be better for if you are planning to play in a franchise since all my shoe colors are nuetral, but thats up to the ppl that d/l it. Later Dayz

Here's V1 of my patch, its all that i said it was but all shoes r at 128, my v2 patch will be 256 and up for most shoes. that should be released soon, until then enjoy this one

yeah, just put the shoes.fsh in your xplrcmn file and the players file in your saves

I have danets 2x patch installed so the shoes dont show up right in game. Should I uninstall it?

yes, u have to, also since u do have to uninstall the 2x patch, you also have to get rid of all 2x beye files in your customart folders so they're eyes dont look black
