New Roster Update

hey flash, i noticed that when simmed a dynasty and before proceeding to the next season some free-agents have an overall of 0.. is this a bug?

Those are players who are retired. I think I only did two like that Brandon and Dickerson.

oh, i see.. so that means i can still sign them but then they'll suck? i saw other players who had 0 but you were right about Dickerson.. anyways, i hop its only a minor thing..

yah i know:) i used to hear a lot from him before but now he's missing in action.. does he even play this year? i'll post the other players when i start simming again..

Dickerson called it quits, for real. He retired because of his knee (I think it was his knee) at the beginning of the season. That's the only reason why he is at 0 for everything.

Yeah he had only played about 5 years. Really only 3 becasue the last two years he has been injured.

So how is changing the salaries gonna fix the FA bug, sounds interesting.
BTW have you simmed to the second season and then saw that the stats get all messed up?? like kobe and t-mac averaging 15ppg?? i dont have the game yet but thats a big put off.

The biggest problem of the free agency bug is that all of the teams are really over the cap. That because the game starts you with eally low points cap. So I lowered everyone salary some. It helped only a little. There were still second tier players on FA.

Now for the scoring deal I don't know what EA did to that. Kobe scoring went to 18.9 and t-mac was 16.0 . While Ray Allen was 24.4. Really unforuntate.

but it said that IE cannot download 001.zip from www.geocities.com. I hit save target as...

nevermind it works. either my scan of spyware (forgot about it for awhile

I think i have a possible soulution. It sounds like the game doesnt generate D-Stats for the second year, cos i remember that T-Mac and Kobe dont have high FG ratings while Ray Allen does....... that seems liek the reason, cos also Shaq still gets like 25ppg and he has a high FG rating. What do you think, so to fix this we wud need to make D stats, in the second season, unless EA puts out a patch, cos it wud be simple to solve as they generated D-Stats in 2003 for each season.

i tried to change lebrons shoes in the game but he only had the two colorways for the zoom generation, does that mean you cant change all the shoes of players who have their own shoes like tmac and vince?

No, I thought went unlocked all the shoes and saved my roster it gave everyone who used the roster the ability to use whatever shoes I unlocked. You can change T-mac and Vince shoe You can make T-Mac wear Nike if you want once you unlock his shoe varible.
