I did reply to your first call for help. Didn't you read what I said? I'm 80% sure your problem is that you don't have a codec. So here, I'll repeat what I said several posts ago.

wangster wrote:Just go to www.divx.com and download their divx codec pack (it probably includes divx playa). Get the free one because the other ones will have annoying adware and spyware. Install it and open the video again with the media player of your choice (you could try their divx playa) and you should be able to see the pictures this time.

EDIT: I believe their current version of divx is 5.05

This Look mad nice. The collision detection is ugly and there were way to many balls just thrown away.

One thing I like is that there weren't fast breaks all over the place, making it much more realistic, hopefully EA gets the collision detection in check.

ANother nice that is one on shot from 3 point land RJ kind of has a bad release and it showed as he kind of short armed it like he knew he was gonna miss and it clanged off the front rim.

The guy with the Nets sucked he has K-Mart under the basket and kept gunnin and dribbling with Kidd.

Oh yeah and they have a hall of fame and retired jerseys..F!ck YEAH!!!

No, we can't do that. It's illegal.

Andrew, I can't understand your point. Why is it illegal?
The Gamemeca hosted this video on their site. They are advertizing that it's monopolized though. But it's located in the Gamemeca's Download section and it's permitted. There isn't any warning or something like that.
All that costs is just joining up Gamemeca. Once you're a member of GM, then its free. Only the Gold member's services are charged.
It's a Korean site, but EA Korea is here too. If it was illegal, Gamemeca could'nt do a thing like this. There's also a Fifa 2004 gameplay video beside it and the Fifa one is downloadable too.
How can it be illegal to share the file like this?
I know there was some spillage of Gamespot's videos, some time ago.
But I think this case is different from that.
If I had a place to host this big-sized file, I might have made a link to download it already. In my opinion, I think it's gonna be O.K.

It is illegal to post copyrighted material without permission. I do not have permission to host the video, hence it cannot be uploaded to our server.

As I said, I don't have permission to post the video on the NLSC's server.

I know that it's not going to be OK. I know that I cannot post the video and I will not jeopardise the NLSC's online status by violating the hosting agreement.

I've also got a feeling hosted sites are bound by a limit on individual file sizes when uploading to FilePlanet, but my main concern is the legality of the issue.

Was there starting lineups in the movie, before players took court with player intro's? (you know the works)

Where the player sneakers on the players in the game yet?

Thanx

When the game started, there was a shot of the stadium roof with the scoreboard, retired jerseys, and whatnot, and the camera stared panning down so I think that was the beginning of an introduction but it seemed like the people playing it skipped it, so..... after all this jabbering, my answer to your question is: I don't know....... :(

Actually, it was important that the issue of posting videos on the NLSC was resolved, so your implication that answering your question (which you brought up after I posted on the legality of posting the videos) was more urgent is a little out of line. When you ask a question in the middle of a different matter, you might have to wait a couple of posts for an answer.

It was my pleasure to share the info with the NLSC Community.
And 'Thanks' is what I wanna say to you guys.
Because I've enjoyed all of the sweet patches and infos that the NLSC provided. I really appreciate that.

It's really hard to wait till.............October.

SteveT it's probably because the video is solely Gamemeca's property, Andrew would probably have to cantact them for permission to put it on NLSC...Or am I wrong?

That's basically the situation. And it's not the kind of preview media that you would freely allow other sites to post on their server, so it's highly unlikely I would get permission to post it on the NLSC.

Just downloaded the movie.
@SteveTThx a lot for providing it.

The video is amazing. Despite the fact, that we can't see the cpu playing and the intro was stopped. Especially the 10-man freestyle is **whoa**. Just focus on a player and look at his defensive behaviour. .
But for a first look i would say that this is the best NBA Live EVER. And i played all from '95 to '2003. Can't wait for the final game.
