The official patch fixes the CustomArt crashes, allows you to create more than 5 custom teams

so now i can create like 20 custom teams? the possiblities are endless

What is your video card ?

I've GF FX5900XT 390/680@481/772 , but my PC is Celeron...

If you would try to overclock your VGA, i think you would get more points..

The patch doesn't give any custom teams; it simply fixes a bug in the game that only allowed a potential 5 teams to be added. So now in theory, you will be able to add as many teams as you want, but yes you Will have to edit the dbf files to create them.

I downloaded and installed the patch, but the game still crashes when I go into 1on1 mode with customart on. I have the EN-US patch, and I'm pretty sure I have the English USA version since I like in the USA and the menus are all in English. I never got an unofficial patch, but I still tried replacing the .exe with the one on my CD.

Even after it loads, when i view the players there is a pause before the players appear in the line-up screen. Everything is super slooooooooooow, except the gameplay?????


Anyone know what happened?

YES, w/ customart = 1 it will load much slower. It's been my experience.

In 2003 customart ran a lot slower. Same with this year, all tho so far for me it hasn't been unbearably slow... just a little slower. PS, check your PM.

Aight, now it's time for some more cryin' and nagging

I just tested to install the update (now that I got my cd back) and I got the message that so many others have gotten "Old file not found, however a file with the same name was found..."
I have had another .exe file but I got now the original nba2004.exe file now in the mainfolder, still it dosen't work.

Sorry to bother everyone with this shit again, but I really want this update

1) Be more carefull with your stuff so that you don't lose them.

2) Buy yourself another copy.

3) No CD patch? How about...ehm...NO?

We won't give any information about this, it's not our fault you were careless with your stuff. Either pay for a new copy or don't play the game, it's as simple as that.

It would be appreciated if you stopped asking about any cracks etc because they are against forum rules.
