EA'S OFFICIAL 2004 PATCH RELEASED...

When you installed it, will i need to play with inserted CD, or is there this patch no-cd crack ?

You should copy file from CD, but not from DEViANCE folder

What crack it need ? If i don't crack, NBA doesn't start..
If i use crack from DEViANCE it crashes..:0
Is there crack for this version..?

does the patch fix any of the many gameplay issues/bugs? right now, the only thing i want fixed which can't be remedied by sliders is the sg/sf super shotblocking ability.

i installed it but how do I know it's working? under detail settings, the highest i can go is 1280X1024...shouldnt it go higher?

I have the same problem. It said 'You succesfuly instaled patch' but in game max rezolution is 1280 * 1024..

Just to make things clear:
if you stored a backup of the original nbalive.exe somewhere, then this what you do:
Put it back into your nbalive2004 folder(overwrite the existing one). Then download the new new patch.
Open the Live folder and run the new application. Yes, you will have to use the CD. No need to do anything else. Your customart sholud still be there and it will work fine.

The Patch is installed on my computer and I don't have to use the cd

It's really sad that EA Sports work hard on the game and then work had to release a patch for the fans of the game to fix a few issues for them and then dickheads come on the boards and complain that the patch doesn't work with a cracked version of the game... buy the fucking game you tight asses and quit complaining...

I'm with you on that issue, since 95, every year i buy the game, and enjoy it myself like other guys here, but seems to me now, that the biggest problem of all forums, not flame wars, patch thieves, and others, but the biggest one, here is a common thing, everybody talk free, and i don't see the moderators and administrator take this like a serious thing and punishing like they have too...
This one is the biggest problem, and no mather what, we will never have the support for EA, the way the things going on here...

Actually, the moderators and I do lock and delete a lot of threads regarding illegal downloads. Since we're not online all the time, we can't always get to them straight away. This is one of those cases.

Have you read Andrew's last post? I think he made himself very clear regarding illegal copies.

Show some respect towards the poeple who run this forum at least.

The solution to your problem is inserting the original CD into the drive.

Yea, stop posting questions about how you could make it work with a pirated game...
It's pretty annoying that you still insist on doing it since all the people has told you not to...
