Are you planning to make some jerseys or cyberfaces once you'll be done with the courts ?

You're giving this patch a flavour that will make it unbeatable (y)

KD: Out of those on the list, I've only got the Magic, Clippers, Sixers, Grizzlies, Rockets, Knicks, SuperSonics, Spurs and Mavericks courts. Would you be able to send me the others please? I'll ask Bru about the Pistons' 1996 court.

Cklitsie: I've sent the art for the jersey files to the address you posted...did it arrive this time? The zip is about 930 kb.

Andrew, I will send you the courts as soon as possible. The mavericks and supersonics courts I will re-send to you with new wood textures.

Also, Bru said it was okay to use his patches....so you should use his New Jersey and Detroit courts. Also, you will see a Utah court soon, which we used Bru's retro Delta Center o-file as a base. I completed all the logos so Gerald just has to change the baseline and key colors and it will be done.

Sounds good KD. I actually meant to send Bru a PM yesterday, but it slipped my mind. But if he's happy to let me use the courts...thanks Bru! (Y)

With the current roster patches set for the meantime, I can get back to doing the roster. There's only 10 NBA teams and the All-Star teams left to complete, it shouldn't take too long. I'm still not going to set a release date just yet though.

Account size isn't really an issue. The option to automatically empty the Trash in my Mail.com account was simply disabled when they upgraded their system. But thanks anyway.

Gerald, I forgot to make another logo on the Indiana that is on the court. On the other sides of the courts it is supposed to say "INDIANAPOLIS" . Like in this pic: http://www.members.shaw.ca/robdude14/pacerpic.jpg

I've completed New Jersey and Minnesota today, bringing the total of completed teams to 22.

I'll post some more screens soon. I've been adding the courts and jerseys, and it's really shaping up nicely.

Retro Art

The courts are in Gerald and KD's capable hands, so the patch is set there. There's a few jerseys and a lot of faces that need to be done though.

Faces

Not as urgent as I've tried to make the created players look as realistic as possible. Retro team art makes for much more realism.

Jerseys

The following teams still need their 95/96 jerseys. If anyone has the time and ability to create these jerseys, it would be most appreciated.

Dallas
Golden State
Indiana
Philadelphia
Utah
San Antonio *
Portland *

* San Antonio and Portland's current jerseys are very similar to their 1996 jerseys, with only a slight difference to the lettering. The patch could probably make do with the default jerseys, but if anyone would like to make the old jerseys, I'd be most grateful. I can send some old NBA Live art files if need be, though I don't have art for the old Sixers or Pacers jerseys (I can't extract them from NBA Live 97).

I still can't say exactly when the patch will be released, but it's certainly getting closer to completion. Pretty soon it will just be a matter of polishing up ratings and other data then getting all the art into place.
