USA vs The World Basketball MOD patch Project !!!!

Hello All,

It has been like 2 years since i have patched for this game. But i got the itch back. Some of you dont know me and of you migh remember me.

I was really good with staduim look and built of it. And when i mean built i mean o-edit. I made the conseco fieldhouse , Fleet Center, Toyota Center and also did the old portland memorial coliseum for my dream team patch. It was based on the look it had during the 1992 USA Men's Tournament of the Americas. And what i plan on doing is redoing that and continuing to the current team in Japan.

Some of you are probley thinking why not do it for live 06 or save it for live 07. It is all because of the o edit tool and the fact i'm really good at it. I have a stronger PC video card more ram then 2 years ago. But i am a architect so i know how design arena like this. And also use the old morph tool. To give players the right look and body built and some old school guys like Patrick Ewing ,David Robinson , Chris Mullen and Scottie Pippen the high top Flat top fades. And even adding the look of old high top shoes.

I have been doing alot of research getting pics from google , altavista and gettyimages of all the player dating to the right year. Getting pics of arena that the games took place. I plan to getting there look down to the most perfect detail - hair, built , accessories you name it.

Roberto Clemente Coliseum for the 1999 Tournament of the Americas
Sydney SuperDome for the 2000 Summer Olympics Sydney, Australia

The main reason for this patch is because i love basketball. Anyone that would like to be part of if please let me know. As of right know it is very early. The only thing that i do ask for is a good working FSH Tool and FSHed Tool. The Fsh Tool will not work right for me it will open some FSH file and not all. And the one's that it does open i can reclose. And with the FSHed tool i cant get to edit the actual file. I know in the past i was able to make a file that was 128 to 256 and 256 to 128. And know i cant i dont know if the one's that are still out on the net are not good or what. But if any has a good working verison of either of them please, please let me know.

Do you know how to change the sock colors from black to another color on road uniforms, because I want to change mine to white or red?

I am also in the need of some help, i cant find any in game pic's of the 1999 team 18 pics total. if any body can help please let me know.

This is great...someone actually still plays 2004?? Well, so do I. I've begun a similar effort to get ABA teams from the past. Live 2004 is the best game for patching! Wish these new games were more patcher friendly....anyway, good luck and look forward to seeing your realistic 92 Dream Team!

thanks man.. yea still pluging away i totally redid the the backbroad for the type the they used and even the shot clock, did all the art for the court and got the look down threw o-edit, but i forget how change the colors of the paint and outbounce area with the hex editior.

i cant find Tutorial for the court that isnt set for 2005 and 2006. any help would be great that would let me start on Portland Memorial Coliseum and then on the players.

no i got those faces and all the uniforms and shoes and some court from some old patchs that i had on my old pc i wish i could give credit to who did some of these but i know. I found alot of shoes from back in the day.

I have done the portland mem col for tour of americas in 1992 arena and court on the logos for the "NBA Dream Team" and the rosters.

i will do oedit for all the body type players who donot wear short shorts to have med length shorts and give them the look of high tops shoes. And Ewing and Pippen High top fro.

is that KJ based on an actual KJ photograph? cuz its really close in a generic sense, but the real KJ has those distinctive eyebrows that the facepatch lacks in kind of a created-dynasty-rookies kinda way.
if a quality head-on color photo of KJ could be wrapped around the shape of that head, i think it would be perfect. the face-shape and especially the ears look perfect to me. nice work guys.

no the face is very light i think from the pic ... i tried to search the web but couldnt find a good pic of his face. i did find patch for 06 that might be a fit for it, i will try to convert it.

The KJ picture is from the back of his 89 Hoops card. I'm looking to improve it too but I agree with Douchifer that it's not too bad for now.....
