Need Slider Suggestions for layups and jumpshots

Live 2004 for is a good game but what bothers me is that when I go up for layups I do that 2 -handed layup and never make the shot...even if its one person in front of me...its ridiculous 95% of the time I miss it ...the computer....makes them all the time ...I can't hit outside shots for my life...no 3's no mid range jumpers...making these are rare for me...I need some slider settings to end all slider settings.....what can I do to fix this ...
