Serious Glitch In Live 2K4! PC Game better be patched.

I HAVE BAD NEWS!!! Upon Further simming the glitch appears to be true those free agents i signed for one yr went back to the pool of now even more superstars....and still will take the minimum for one yr and those free agents i didnt sign last yr were still in there just chillin like wtf....i mean i have to admit some of the players in there would never be in this situation...thier teams would have never let them leave.....I am so disappointed right now....this is so unacceptable...i mean in MADDEN the free agent signing period is a BEAST you have to kick punch scratch and rake eyes to secure any player of a decent rating (75 or better)...why the hell cant they implement this in Live...I hate to say it but this does spoil the experience if your into DYNASTY MODE if not you wont be affected(which is no one being that everyone is into it)...I THINK this will be going back when ESPN comes out....Ill probably just get some good online games in and trade it in I cant believe this s***! A perfect game ruined by somethin so little (meaning little to fix)....i mean aint this why you pay f***** testers and programmers for??? They need to let us test that S*** out.....let like 100 die hard sports gamers...not the casual arcade gamer and let them play the finished product not the early BETA the damn finished product like 2 weeks before the release so we can tell them what needs to be fixed....Holla!

For sure. I can't believe they can't even catch a major glitch like that. It's unbelievable.

Sadly, I don't think it will be fixed by the time they release the PC version. Live very rarely gets patches on the PC I think I will check out a few reviews after the PC version is released before I decide to buy the game. I'm tired of being a sucka.

Maybe someone who has some inside connections like EddyMVP can mention the problem to see if they can fix it before it's released?

The glitch is ridiculous, it has been around since 2002 and even happened, albeit much less, in 2000.

gosh isn't this bug well-known in the past years? what are the developers for the dynasty mode doing? i'd rather have a working dynasty mode with none of those cut scenes (i turned off the cut scenes in the game last year after playing 2 games)
last year, i dumped the dynasty mode at once when i found out this bug. it's ridiculous when stars are FA at the start of the next season and sign with which ever team gets to sign FA's first.
i double checked to see that it made to the wishlist for 2004 last year. now we get the same old f$@ked up story...

hopefully they can fix it but if not, with the db editor's i just increased the lengths of the veterans contracts to 7 years, and let the free agents and rookies that have expired contracts come up at free agency time. at least with the pc version it can be worked around.

after hering this i'm staying wif 2003...as realistic their gameplay are i want a very realistic dynasty wif it which Live has not done yet...

So the free agent problem is back... How come I'm not surprised... But this is not certainly as big of a problem as it is in Live 2003... With Live 2003 the problem was all in the salaries. The AI released tons of great players cause they would go so deep over the cap and thus almost every good player had a minimum contract on them.

Are you again over a million over the million cap? Or is it more real like it was in the past aka as time before Live 2003? I would just like to know that...

The salary.ini file got messed up in Live 2003 and you were lucky if not all of your players were asking for more then 200k salary.

We should be able to get more input on the game updating... I don't like where it is going. EA is trying to beat ESPN in ESPN's game. What it mean is that didn't ESPN have lots of those cut scenes last year? Like from the draft and all? (I've never played it, but this is what I was made to believe). Instead of this EA should have just reinforced their game with their own ideas and our ideas and just build on last years "solid" base. And get us something really worth playing for.

as simple as that. i really think that this is the problem. but maybe they don´t because if they would they would have to make way too many adjustments at once. the biggest flaws that everybody´s complaing about will be heard anyway. and doing more would mean the game would get too fast too good. maybe they just want to imrove it as far to make sure evrybody´s buying it.
