is the training interactive?

I was watching some of the video clips of live and saw the section where the guy used the slider bars to determine what he wanted his team to practice on. The thing is that when they did that, it looked like he had no control of the training, they just did it. Is this true? If you can't actually control the training, why put it in the game, just for visual appeal to tease us? I sure hope i'm not right because that would suck! If i want to work on free throws with shaq, i want to control him, not see a video of him doing it, that's cheezy!
thanks,
scott

it's pretty certain that you just get to 'watch' the same sequense over and over and over and over and... hehe
i still like it...

just for teasing... how the hell would you contoll 3 players and at the same time give them diferent commands on what to do?
and how fun would it be on a scale from 1 to 2? i meen. the whole pracice thing is as it was showed:
jump up to the backboard two times...
run lenths...
some shooting pracise...
maybe some defence...

+ you already got 'individual pracice'...
