Aside from being useful in keeping every aspect of the rosters up to date, it would also be a nice way of putting yourself in the game as your team's coach in Dynasty Mode.

cant you add coaches into the game with a DBF editor for 2003? you'd need a new cyberface i suppose or a generic one.

Yeah, it's easy enough to replace a coach in NBA Live 2003 by changing his details and adding a cyberface patch. You can't give a coach a created PLAYERPKG though, or create a new one from within the game.

Yes, hiring and firing coaches, but also being able to give them a created appearance. Coaches use a PLAYERPKG value the same as players (eg PARILEY) which are used in conjunction with the cyberface files. If you try to give a coach a created PLAYERPKG (eg ZAZAZA), he'll just have a blank red head.

Hopefully if such a feature is implemented, a coach would be able to affect the team in some way...like that of Madden....

Adding stuff with coaches like that is a great idea, and have him make specific plays for like times when there are 4 second left down by 2 or something. Also for like creating coahc es you couldhave stats, like, knowledge(for createing good plays), temper(the higher it is the more likily he will agrue a call), etc.

I'd like to just give my coach the same appearance as a player without a patch. For example, I wanted to use Billy Cunningham for my created 1983 Sixers. It comes out red with green writing (or something) on it.
