What format do i save the DDS files in paint.net when editing face file for cf?

Hello im having an issue. I use to mod and make cf all the time in 2k25 however when i try to edit and save the DDS face files i save it under the same as last year under (BC7 with minimaps) on paint.net and it use to work no problem. However everytime i do this now in 2k26 the whole cf goes invisible. I tried saving under a different format and still doesnt show up. Does anybody know why this is so? And how i can fix this?

have you used the iff fixer after? Any dds needs to be in the format that is in the matching TXTR file

Thanks for replying! I tried downloading it and saving it in the same format and still no luck. These are my settings anything that stands out? Also included the TXTR files settings for reference . [/img]

ok, no idea then, it all works fine for me. You need the fixer tool or it won't work with the current exe. Did you get the pop up window?

Ok good news. So I tried it with Josh Christopher with the original dds file (tested it by using the iff fixer and turned his face green to test and it worked in game!) however, my problem is when I try to use another face file to replace the original by renaming the new file the same as the original I’m trying to replace the face goes invisible (for example: tried to switch Josh Christopher dds file for Dejounte Murray’s Dds file and renamed Murray’s to Josh’s on the DDs file and the TXTR file.) the model comes back invisible again in game. Do you know a workaround for this?
