Could this be a nod to Darryl Dawkins (Chocolate Thunder) and his shattering of backboards in the early 80's? If so, that's pretty cool, and is something I've been adding to the 2K wishlist for decades (they finally listened!) I mean, it's a video game.....I want to be able to break a backboard every so often, especially if I'm playing in MyEras in the early 80's, before they had the 'Shaq-proof' rims and backboards they do now.

Other than that, however, not really much in the image to get excited about. Too much focus on MyPlayer/the Park and not much else.

I don't want to get my hopes up too much about shattered backboards, but that would be really cool!
