Crossplay, Cross-Gen Progression, & Dual Entitlement

As per the NBA 2K26 FAQ on the official website...

• Crossplay will be available between PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but not PC or the Prior Gen consoles. It will be available in co-op matches and online tournaments.
• As in previous games, there is cross-gen progression in MyTEAM and a shared VC wallet between consoles in the same family (i.e. PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S). In short, whatever you do in MyTEAM on one generation, the progression will also carry across to the other, and the same VC balance is shared between both generations as well.
• If you purchase the Standard Edition of NBA 2K26 for a PlayStation or Xbox console, copies for both generations will be included. If you purchase the game digitally, the copy for the other generation will be added to your account. If you purchase a physical copy, a code to redeem a digital copy for the other generation will be included in the box.
