Cheat Engine BROKEN

anyone know how to get the game from crashing everytime i open cheat engine. I also tried using an old .exe file. But, then 2k wont even launch with a old .exe file.

Open the game in offline mode first, and then turn on CE

What do you mean, does this mean that there is no longer an option to play the game in offline mode to play with mods?

I still play with mods but you cant open the game in offline mode to use cheat engine. If you open the game and use Cheat engine it will close right away.

You are completely wrong guys because I still use Cheat Engine to edit my rosters without any issues. The key is to replace the current .exe with version 1.2 (October-November version) and launch the game from Steam by selecting the second option. This will start NBA 2K25 with the version compatible with the cheat table.

Once you're on the roster screen, it's important to disable your internet connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable); this way, you can edit without issues using Cheat Engine. Once you're done, simply close Cheat Engine, reactivate your internet connection, and save the roster.

The final step is to replace the 1.2 .exe with the current one again and launch NBA 2K25 with the first option to regain online functionality. (All visual mods work with the latest 2K patch, but you must follow my steps if you want to edit anything with CE).

Note: I have a backup of both exe files in a rar file so I can replace them easily.
